Who Should Sign Up?
Any SCHS student who is currently in grades 9-11 and any SCMS student who is currently in 8th grade who does not intend to participate in the SCMS Summer School program this summer.  Current 8th graders who are planning to enroll in the SCMS summer school program are encouraged to sign-up for the strength training class offered through the MS summer school program.
What Is Expected of Me If I Sign Up?
Registered participants are expected to have regular attendance for the session(s) he/she signs up for.  We understand that family trips, sport camps, summer jobs, and lots of other things occur during the summer and the staff will be reasonably flexible with such conflicts.  However, when athletes sign up, they are making a commitment to the program, and to their own growth and athletic preparation.  Athletes are expected to maintain regular attendance throughout the seven weeks of the program.

When Does the Program Run?
The 2020 Summer Athletic Training program will run for seven weeks, from June 8 through July 24.  Sessions will be held Monday through Thursday each week.  There will not be sessions on Fridays.
What Is the Mental Performance Training Program?
Teddy Michelson, a 2015 SCHS graduate, is completing his graduate program at Minnesota State - Mankato in Sports Psychology.  He will provide a special program for SCHS athletes who wish to work on mental training for peak athletic performance.  His program is meant to be an add-on to the APT program.  For more information on his program, visit https://drive.google.com/file/d/1czEyOd6IaSvlzT5F-go5h5XvFSohFfd9/view
