Universal NDC Youth Clause Pledge Form
This form is intended for Parties of the Paris Agreement to pledge their commitment to integrating the Universal NDC Youth Clause — consisting of three core pillars related to appreciation of, collaboration with, and education for children and youth — in your NDCs for the coming February 2025 deadline. 

The Universal Youth Clause reaffirms the youth inclusion obligations agreed upon in the Paris Agreement, the Global Stocktake,  and Action for Climate Empowerment initiatives. Crafted by youth organizers at Care About Climate, this simple clause aligns directly with the youth inclusion guidelines from UNDP, UNICEF, and UNESCO.

By submitting this document, your government will be publicly acknowledged for their pledge to integrating the Universal NDC Youth Clause pillars into your upcoming NDC.

Sample language: "We commit to increasing climate change education, training, and awareness-raising efforts for all children and young people to strengthen their ability to claim their rights to live in harmony with nature and contribute to mitigation and adaptation efforts."
