Expo Waste Ambassador Registration
Thank you for volunteering to be a Waste Reduction Ambassador for Expo '74 . Your role in helping implementing the Low-Impact Waste Policy is essential to help Spokane reduce waste now and develop a path towards a zero waste event policy moving forward. 

Waste Ambassadors are required to complete a 1 hour on-line training. After the training you will know how to:

  1. Explain the purpose and intent of the low waste event initiative.

  2. Accurately separate recycling, compost and landfill materials.

  3. Direct event attendees to refillable water stations.

  4. Capture weight of diverted waste and upload to a Google form.

  • Waste Ambassadors will work in groups of 2-3 alongside a staffed information booth

  • We will contact you through your preferred method 1 week prior to the event you're volunteering at with instructions on where to meet and who to check in with. 
A link to the online training will be emailed to you after completion of this form.
