Final Round Kickoff Event RSVP
This year's Final Round Kickoff will take place on Wednesday, February 10th, 2025 from 5:00-6:00pm PT, in Blum Hall at the Social Innovator CoLab (120 Blum Hall). This Kickoff will involve Big Ideas finalist teams (Big Ideas) as well as teams in the Mastercard Foundation Alumni Scholars Impact Fund program (Impact Fund). 

At least one team member from each Big Ideas final round team is required to attend. Please be sure to RSVP by January 31. Impact Fund teams that are in the SF Bay area should also plan on attending. If all team members are unavailable at this time, you need to reach out to Phillip Denny (pdenny@berkeley.edu) ASAP. Mentors (once assigned) are also highly encouraged to join us!

At the Kickoff we will review important information about the Final Round (including full proposal rules and criteria), and the Big Ideas professional staff will provide an overview of the mentorship process. Following the kickoff Big Ideas and the Sutardja Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology (SCET) are cohosting a large team building and networking entrepreneurship mixer. Following the kickoff, Big Ideas finalists and mentors are encouraged to stick around participate in this incredible event.

Parking: 2-hour metered street parking is available on Hearst Avenue and nearby streets. Public parking (by the hour) is available on Level 2 of the Lower Hearst Parking Garage located at Hearst Avenue and Scenic Avenue. If headed east on Hearst, make a slight left onto Le Conte Ave (the first traffic light after Oxford) followed by a sharp right onto Scenic Avenue at the top of the hill. Take the last garage entrance before Hearst.
