Thank you for your interested in being a ALZ Around Town Champion! As a Town Champion your efforts to raise awareness and help promote the Worcester County Walk in your Community are critical in helping us raise funds to support the Alzheimer’s Association mission activities including; care and support through the 24/7 Helpline, Care Consultations and Support Groups, delivering education programs in the community, offering trainings and supporting our advocacy efforts while advancing research for treatments, preventative and ultimately a cure.

Alzheimer’s impacts many in our community regardless of geography, race, or education level. Not only is the individual diagnosed with the disease impacted, but their entire family and all those that support them are.  You may be surprised by the number of families in your community impacted by this disease.  

Our long term goal with the ALZ Around Town and Town Champion model, is to create an ongoing presence in your community year-round.  This presence will allow us to assist those families to better navigate the disease and help us to raise the necessary funds through the Walk to End Alzheimer’s to advance our mission.
