As a very beginner, I want to invite you to learn how to
manipulate pictures using Affinity Photo 2 together with me. Affinity Photo 2
is relatively cheap software on a par with Adobe Photoshop that can run on Mac
OS, Windows, and iPad: https://affinity.serif.com/en-gb/photo/
(30-day free trail is available).
As it is now, my learning goals are the following. First, I
want to learn how to carefully select, eliminate, add, move, edit particular objects
on a ready-made picture (e.g., photo). Second, I want to learn how to add,
edit, eliminate, and move a text on a ready-made picture and combining several ready-made
pictures together. Third, I want to learn how to change brightness and contrast
on a part of a ready-made picture. Fourth, I want to understand photoshoping jargon
(e.g., layers, filters, masks, states, persona, arrangement): what are for and
how to use them. Fifth, I want to observe what photoshoping is capable of to
develop new learning desires. Your learning goals may differ from mine.
I want to invite beginners like me for fun learning
together, mutual moral support, help, developing new challenging but doable photoshoping
projects, possible learning collaboration on a project, source of information, advice,
guidance, and so on. More advanced photoshopers are welcome if you do not mind
to have beginners like me around you and are willing to help us time-to-time. Non-bossing
teachers of photoshoping are welcome as well 😉
