The SASM Astronomy Challenge provides a great family science activity that can be completed at home!

After signing up, you will be able to borrow a telescope and activity pack from Monday -Thursday (please return it to SASM on Friday ready to be loaned the following week). Not every day is ideal for stargazing as you will need a clear night. Don’t worry if you don’t get a chance to see the stars, though there are plenty of other activities to try in the pack and you can book it out again soon. You can complete the activities in any order.

We will loan out the telescopes on a first-come-first-served basis and you will be contacted by the office when it is your turn to borrow the telescope.
