Applicants will be notified of acceptance no later than July 15.  
Note clarification of information may be requested.

Note: Storytelling Slots are available on the hour 1:00, 2:00, 3:00, 4:00 PM.
Requests for specific time slots will be considered but not guaranteed.

Story Slam begins promptly at 12 noon - Lightning Round begins at 5:00 PM.
All are invited to participate regardless of story slot status.

Timing is Critical: Select Length of Performance.
Applicants may apply to share a set with one or two tellers or with their storytelling group.
The final schedule will be based on the number of tellers who apply in each age/subject category.  

Each full 45-minute set, including announcements and applause,  is comprised of multiple tellers.  Select your preference. *

Suggested Theme:  Farm-Related and Family-Friendly Tales Are Encouraged to Complement the Venue and Its Visitors.

STORY SLAM
The Story Slam begins promptly at noon.  All tellers are encouraged to vie for an opportunity to compete with a 5-minute tale on the day of the festival.  This year’s theme: TBA.

Lightning Round
The Lightning Round will feature 2 1/2 minutes-or-less tales told in rapid succession by tellers.  Pre-registration is required and spots are limited.  Send your name with title,  length of story, and  detailed synopsis to LR@njstorynet.org 

Publicity
The Festival Committee needs you to help get the word out!

Each teller will receive a  press release template for local newspapers and other media.

Spread the Word on Your Website and/or Facebook page.
 (Reformat your press release, or simply post a word and link to the festival website or Facebook page.)
