Basic SKYWARN teaches you about severe weather hazards and preparedness for our area along with how to report severe weather to the National Weather Service.  Topics include severe thunderstorms, tornadoes, hail, lightning, flooding, squall lines, bow echoes, derochoes and supercells.    The class is free and open to all ages.
