Protective Factor Series
This interactive workshop series will help you grow in the five protective factors - evidence-based characteristics shown to strengthen family ties, increase positive outcomes for children, and reduce the likelihood of child maltreatment. The five factors are parental resilience, social connections, concrete support in times of need, knowledge of parenting and child development, and social and emotional competence of children. One factor will be covered each week. Please contact Sarah Reed sreed@soazadvocacy.org with any questions.
