YLSBC Public Speaking 201(2023-2024) Registration Form
201 level is open to all those who have completed Public Speaking 101 level.
Since the applicant is under 18 years of age, the parent or guardian must sign as well

 Program Requirements:

This program requires absolute commitment from parents and youth for the dates. So if you have a conflict with these dates due to some other activity, we will not accept the registration. We would need your confirmation to this effect as follows.

As this program is run by volunteers, we need return volunteer hours from youth (40 hrs) and Parents (20 hrs) on matters relating to the YLSBC program including Public Speaking.

YLSBC will from time to time announce the need for volunteering hours, one month ahead so parents can plan their calendars.

This program will also have a Parent Advisory Committee which would oversee the program delivery (not the curriculum) including room bookings (no cost to you), monitor winter conditions, and discuss with coaches if any session needs to be rescheduled. They will also be responsible for potluck snacks each session, and also during award ceremonies. The PAC will communicate with all parents of this program, and provide monthly feedback to coaches how the parents view the program and its delivery. Any improvements we can make so the youth stay focused and interested. Parents should check with youth from time to time on the progress and make sure they do their homework and stay committed. The above requirements are mandatory.

Please submit this registration form only if you agree to the above requirements
