SCHEDULE OF LESSONS

Tutoring sessions will commence at agreed upon start date following completion of this agreement. Tutoring session schedules will remain consistent as previously agreed upon via email.

Reminders will be sent via email and/ or text one day prior to the scheduled tutoring session.

Any scheduling changes should be communicated via email to SchoolhouseAmy@gmail.com.

LATE ARRIVAL AND CANCELLATIONS

No adjustment to fees shall be made for time due to late arrival by the student or for early termination of session by the student. The tutor agrees to wait fifteen minutes from the time of the scheduled session for the student's arrival before considering that session a no-show without sufficient prior notice and therefore subject to a no-show fee.

If you should need to cancel a tutoring session, 24-hour notice must be given prior to canceling the scheduled tutoring session. Failure to do so will result in a $40 fee for a one-hour session, or a $20 fee for a half-hour session. This allows us to ensure tutors are compensated for their time and planning efforts. Late cancellation due to student illness will be considered an exception and will NOT be charged.

DROP OFF & PICKUP

Drop off: Please walk your child into the building and wait in the lobby with them until their scheduled tutoring session time begins. This guarantees there is supervision for students who are early for their appointment.

Pick up: Students are to be picked up within 5 minutes of the end of their session.

SICK POLICY

Children with excessive draining from the mouth, nose, eyes, or ears will need to stay home or be picked up as soon as possible. Amy's Schoolhouse, LLC does not permit students in attendance to have pink eye, skin rashes, vomiting, diarrhea, a temperature greater than 100 degrees, lice, COVID, or any communicable disease. Children must be fever/ vomit/ diarrhea free for 24 hours, without the use of medication, before they can come back to Amy's Schoolhouse, LLC.


If a child becomes sick at Amy's Schoolhouse, LLC, a parent will be required to come pick them up as soon as possible.

PROPERTY DAMAGE

Normal wear and tear on materials is expected when working with children. If a child breaks things on purpose, the parents will be expected to pay for damages.

PAYMENT & INVOICING

Tutoring sessions will be billed at a rate of $35 per half hour session and $65 per one hour session. No other fees will be applied for the preparation time of lessons. Fees may be adjusted and shall become effective after having given the client seven days written notice by email.

Payment can be made at the time of tutoring session. If parent prefers, sessions can be invoiced via email through "Square" at the end of the business day, and payment is due on the 30th of each month.

OBLIGATIONS OF THE TUTOR

The tutor assumes responsibility for all preparation prior to lessons and will structure lessons in such a way as to optimize time to the benefit of the student. The tutor shall keep confidential all information of the student and shall contact other parties involved in the education of the student only if given written permission by the student, or student's guardian.

Progress updates will be given upon request.

Amy's Schoolhouse, LLC makes no promises or warranties with regards to a student's performance as a result of any tutoring provided.

TERMINATION

Sessions may be terminated by either party by giving 14 days written notice. Communication about termination of services should be directed to SchoolhouseAmy@gmail.com.
