I would like to run for the following executive position. (an executive can't be a room parent).
WHAT IS A ROOM PARENT?
Room Parents coordinate volunteer activities for their child’s classroom, but do NOT do everything!  You will be the communication link between classroom parents and your teacher and other people on campus (PTO, school activities, other community activities). We are trying to open up the lines of communication and make sure that all families at the school know what is going on and feel welcome to be involved where possible.

WHAT DO I NEED TO DO?

Attend bimonthly Room Parent Meeting.
Keep the office informed of the class events.
Get information from all your parents – get to know them.
Best phone number and time to contact them.

DO I GET SERVICE HOURS?
Our goal at OLR is to establish a Christian atmosphere and be servant leaders. Room parents will be granted up to +/- 20 Service Hours based upon the amount of leadership provided to the OLR School Community.  Room Parents will still need to serve at mandatory school events.

I am interested in being a Room Parent for (you can only choose one grade).  Each grade will be the maximum of two parents. *
