Application Form for Submission

Cheng Huai Art and Culture Association (non-profit organization) is calling for submissions for an online virtual exhibition in Summer 2020. The exhibition's theme is "Through The Looking Glass." All submissions must pertain to this theme in some form.

a. After Completing this form, email all your materials to info@chenghuai.org with a subject of “Through The Looking Glass submission + your name”.
(If you know French or Mandarin or both, please offer us a version in each language so that we can convey your vision properly.)
   
b. List of materials (all files should have your name in the title):
        1) artwork description + title
        2) artist’s statement
        3) image or video files of your artwork (shared Google Drive, DropBox, or Baidu Cloud)

c. Contact us at info@chenghuai.org with a subject of “Glass-Submission Question + your name”, if you have difficulty uploading your file or any other questions.

Terms & conditions:
1) Artworks submitted by participants and the rights relating to them, including copyright and ownership rights in the Artwork, remain the sole and exclusive property of the Artist. No other use of the Artwork is granted without they express written consent.
2) By submitting artworks, participants agree to grant to Cheng Huai a license to use, promote, display and distribute the artworks for non-commercial purposes, including, using for promotion and displaying the artworks on the Website. Cheng Huai shall not permit others to use, modify or adapt the artworks without the artists’ agreement.
3) Participant hereby represent that: You are the creator of the artwork and any other material submitted to Cheng Huai, and that you have all the necessary rights, consents, and authorizations required to license the artwork according to these Terms.

Names and contact details are collected for the purpose of contacting you only, they won't be shared with others or posted on our websites.

Reminder: submission deadline 11:59 pm (EDT) on July.20th, 2020 (Montreal, Canada time zone)

Formulaire pour soumission d’oeuvre d’art

Cheng Huai Art and Culture Association (un organisme sans but lucratif) lance l’appel aux candidatures pour une exposition virtuelle se déroulant pendant l’automne 2020.
Le thème de l’exposition est "Through The Looking Glass" (De l’autre côté du miroir). Toutes les soumissions d’oeuvres doivent être liées de près ou de loin à ce thème.

Termes & conditions:
1) Les oeuvres d’art soumises par les participants ainsi que les droits qui y sont reliés, incluant les droits d’auteurs et les droits de propriété de l’œuvre, restent la propriété unique et exclusive de l’artiste. Aucune autre utilisation de l’œuvre n’est accordée sans leur consentement accordé par écrit.

2) En soumettant des oeuvres, les participants acceptent d’accorder à Cheng Huai une licence pour utiliser, promouvoir, afficher et distribuer les œuvres d'art à des fins non commerciales, y compris pour la promotion et l'affichage des œuvres d'art sur le site Web. Cheng Huai s’engage à ne pas permettre à autrui d'utiliser, de modifier ou d'adapter les œuvres d'art sans l'accord des artistes.

3) Le participant affirme donc que: vous êtes le créateur de l’oeuvre et de tout autre matériel soumis à Cheng Huai, que vous possédez tous les droits nécessaires, les accords et les autorisations requises pour octroyer une license pour cette œuvre en vertu des conditions présentes.

Vos noms et adresses courriels sont recueillis à la seule fin de pouvoir vous contacter. Ces informations personnelles ne seront partagées en aucun cas, ni publiés sur nos plateformes.

Rappel: l’appel aux candidatures se termine le 20 juillet 2020 à 11 :59 (EST).
