Holy Mary, the Mother of Jesus:  Pray for Us
St. Anthony:  Pray for Us
St. Peter:  Pray for Us
St. Gabriel:  Pray for Us
St. John:  Pray for Us
St. Michael the Archangel: Pray for Us
St. Theresa:  Pray for Us
(now you say the names of loved ones who have died - one at a time - then say: Pray for Us after each one.

All you holy men and women:  Pray for Us

   AMEN
We are getting closer and closer to Palm Sunday, Holy Week, Good Friday, and Easter!!

This week we read about Lazarus, the brother of Martha and Mary...(This Mary who will annoint the Lord with expensive perfume, is not the Virgin Mary.)

Lazarus was a friend of Jesus', so the sisters send a messenger to bring Jesus to their brother who was very ill and dying.

Jesus arrives, but he is too late, Lazarus had already died a few days before and he was place in a burial tomb.  The sisters both tell Jesus that they believe whatever he may ask of the Father will be granted.

So Jesus prayed and God the Father answered his prayers and Lazarus lived again.
