WPCL Summer Reading Program Volunteer
WPCL's Summer Reading Program will run June 17th through August 2nd this year.  Volunteers need to reside in the Pleasant Valley High School district and be students who are at least 15 years old.   If you are a PV junior entering your senior year, WPCL only provides hours for volunteering/community service and does not provide job shadowing.  Priority will be given to PV juniors entering their senior year.

Volunteers are responsible for welcoming and signing in children, set-up and clean-up of the day's program, assisting the Youth Services Coordinator with prepping materials, straightening of the Children's Area, and other assigned tasks related to the Summer Reading Program.  Volunteers must be enthusiastic and outgoing, be able to talk to adults and children in a professional manner, and be comfortable working outside.  We have a lot of fun with our summer kiddos and want you to as well!  Grab a friend and apply to volunteer together!

Following your application, you will be contacted to come in to meet with Summer Reading programming staff.  All volunteers will be notified by the end of May if they have been selected.
