Exercising with a Disability
I am currently a third year Geography student at the University of Portsmouth and for my Dissertation I have decided to research how exercise, more specifically gyms, can inhibit or promote exercise for people with a disability. Figures show that people with a disability are far less active than those without. But it is just as important, if not more, for a person with a disability to take part in exercise. Therefore this questionnaire is designed to find out how much exercise you do, and your thoughts and feelings about going to the gym. It is to be noted that none of your details will be used and you will remain anonymous throughout this questionnaire and throughout the write-up.
