HSF/IRIS-HEP State of Training Survey
Please help us by spreading this survey to anyone who might want to contribute to training activities!

Which cross-experiment software packages are missing training material or regular events? Can we connect people who can make something happen?

Possible training modules
Among this list of possible training modules/events that we could organize, select "attractive" for the ones that would be most beneficial for the community (that means you/people you know/supervise could benefit from the training, and this training need is not already adequately satisfied by other organizations in your community).

Please also indicate if you would be available to help make such an event happen "would contribute myself". We're not asking for your soul here, but that you can expect to e.g., attend some half-day hackathons or help us with finding participants.

If you already have material/are actively teaching this, please tick "I'm teaching this already".
General python
Attractive/needed/would send students there/would attend
Would contribute myself
I'm teaching this already/I have material
Object-oriented python (introducing classes and intermediate python)
Advanced python (pytest, mypy, pdb, decorators, ...)
numpy & pandas for HEP
Speed-up with numba
Python packaging
pyhf (fitting)
Any module we missed in the last question?
If you're early, we can still add it to the survey to collect some data on it.

Please indicate your availability to contribute yourself or find contributors (strong preference will be given to such suggestions). Please also make sure that your suggestion is reasonably cross-experiment and of sensible scope.

What contributions could you generally make?
Lastly, we're looking for people with experience in JavaScript to help us build a new training center similar to learn.astropy.org
learn.astropy.org is open source, so we won't start from scratch. However, we will need to change a few of the internals. The new training center is planned to list all relevant cross-experiment training modules from any organization and becomes a focal point of the larger HEP community.
