In order for UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) to gain a better understanding of the students its training provision attracts and supports, and to analyse general trends in student populations across UKRI, all universities must request equality and diversity information for those applying, interviewing and made an offer for a UKRI scholarship.

This information includes details of your gender, age, ethnicity, sexuality and if you have a disability. The questions we will ask you as part of this data collection directly match the metrics supplied by UKRI.

All submitted equality and diversity information will be reported to the UKRI. UKRI is gathering this as an aggregated i.e. anonymised set of data. The University of Leeds will provide this aggregated data to UKRI, no personal details will be shared at any stage.

This data will not be used as part of the application assessment or decision making process.
