Who we are: RTT is the Nuclear Age Peace Foundation's (NAPF) youth initiative. The NAPF is a proud partner organization of the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons (ICAN), which was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for their work on the Treaty to Prohibit Nuclear Weapons (TPNW). This treaty prohibits the maintenance, use, and testing of nuclear weapons and provides nuclear justice to the victims of these weapons. So far, over 70 states have ratified the treaty with an additional 28 state signatories. The United States is not a ratifying party to the TPNW and continues to maintain, expand, and upgrade their nuclear weapons stockpile. RTT works to educate, spread awareness, and rectify the historic injustices of global nuclear testing and use which continues to threaten the human security of the globe through devastating impacts to our biosphere and health.

University Network: RTT is launching a University Network to mobilize chapters of RTT at academic institutions located on the East Coast to advance the goal of global nuclear disarmament. Members of the University Action Network seek to spread awareness of nuclear injustices, organize collective action against nuclear weapons, and participate in domestic and international disarmament fora. By creating a campus chapter and joining the Network, you and your members will gain access to nuclear disarmament advocates, activist resources, and relevant event planning. RTT will further organize collective engagement in international forums like the Meeting of State Parties to the TPNW, the Preparation Committee to the Nuclear Non-proliferation Treaty, domestic forums, and opportunity to engage with global leaders.
