As a Taieri College student representing school, you are the public face of Taieri College, and your behavior and attitude has a big impact on the public perception of the college.  It is expected that you will: 

Play fair and show good sportsmanship.
Treat your referees, opposition, coaches, managers, teammates and supporters with respect.
Accept success with dignity, and be gracious in defeat.
Wear your uniform correctly and with pride.
Keep language and conduct appropriate. 
Respect the environment and facilities -  playing venue, school vehicles, equipment.
Help out where possible. 

Remember that most people involved in providing a sporting opportunity for you are volunteers, and as such should be thanked, appreciated and treated with respect.  Many of these basic expectations center around the college values of getting on with others, using your manners, and trying you best. 

By agreeing below, you understand that if these expectations are not met, actions and consequences will be discussed and decided by the Taieri College Director of Sport, principal and team management. 

ATTENDANCE POLICY: 
The Director of Sport, sports coaches, teachers-in-charge and school senior leadership reserve the right to intervene if a student’s attendance rates or engagement in class are below expectation. Attendance and commitment to scheduled team trainings and games also need to be at a high level, with good communication to the coach and Taieri College sports office if unable to attend with reason.

Once the online form is completed, students and parents will receive an information email including further details about the sport and payment process. Keep an eye out on school daily notices and school emails for details. If you have any questions - please do not hesitate to ask the sports office staff.
