2023 Charter Review Council: Public Input Survey
It’s been more than a decade since the City of Central Falls thoroughly reviewed our governance structure to ensure it supports our 21st century needs. Central Falls last convened a Charter Review Commission in 2012 and voters last considered changes to the Home Rule Charter in 2018. It is critical for voters and residents of the City to understand and have a voice in the governance of their community. 

Following Mayor Rivera's signed executive order, the new 2023 Charter Review Council will propose amendments to the city’s current Charter that will be sent to the City Council for placement on the ballot in the upcoming November 7 special general election.

As they review and discuss key recommended changes to the city's current Charter, the Charter Review Council is seeking feedback and input from residents. Please fill out the following form to share your input. 

The Charter Review Council will be meeting in July and August 2023. Additional details can be found at www.centralfallsri.gov/charterreview.

Ha pasado más de una década desde que la ciudad de Central Falls revisó minuciosamente nuestra estructura de gobierno para garantizar que respalde nuestras necesidades del siglo XXI. Central Falls convocó por última vez a una Comisión de Revisión de la Carta Constitutiva en 2012 y los votantes consideraron por última vez los cambios a la Carta Constitutiva de Autonomía en 2018. Es fundamental que los votantes y los residentes de la ciudad entiendan y tengan voz en el gobierno de su comunidad.
