This party is taking place on Sunday, September 11th from 3pm to 6pm at Highlands High School in Fort Thomas, KY. The event is completely free for students.
The basic gist of the event is that we are trying to garner more interest in high school theatre in the Greater Cincinnati area. This event is a chance for students to share their theatre season with all of the other high school theatre programs in the area. Haven't decided on your season yet? That is ok too! You could come to hear what everyone else is doing, ask questions, etc. We want more people to go see your shows so why not try and help spread the word!
In addition to the previews part, we are offering workshops and a college panel discussion for students to really get excited about theatre, the possibilities of a theatre career if they are interested and more! The workshops being offered are stage combat and prop creation.
Our goal is to promote the seasons of all of the theatre programs that participate at the event and throughout the year and hopefully generate more traffic and interest in all of the shows going on in the Greater Cincinnati area.
Lastly, for every drama club/theatre club that attends, they will be entered into a drawing for a free Hamilton workshop led by Zoe Jensen who is playing Eliza Hamilton in the touring production coming through Cincinnati from September 6th thru October 2nd. At least 5 members of that club must be in attendance in order to qualify.
Also, every student who attends will be entered into a drawing for 2 free tickets to Hamilton while it is here in Cincinnati!
