Game questionnaire
Thank you for clicking onto my questionnaire. As part of a title I am currently in development for, I wanted to conduct some research to help me get a better understanding for who this game would appeal to, as well as help iron out later details in the development of the game during the concept phase.

About the project
The game is meant to be a love letter to 2D fantasy adventure titles. Think something like a Link between Time or Pokémon games on the GameBoy. A game made of sprites, with a 2D, Top-down perspective. The player character goes on a quest to fix a mistake of their own making, and return home. The player will travel around a non-linear world, allowing them to explore anywhere in any order, provided they have the right tool.
The game is meant to be an indie title that will be available for free on itch.io. I'm not expecting to make it the same length as a AAA game. After the concept is completed, I begin developing it fully, until I have a demo ready. There is no deadline for this games completion, it's a personal project meant to be a portfolio piece.
