2021 Coordinated Readings - Conservation & Application
The RCN will conduct a THIRD Coordinated Readings during Spring of 2021. This year, we will focus the set of readings on evolutionary aspects of conservation and application.
We invite you to submit a paper or pair of companion papers using this form. Companion papers may be a classic study and recent synthesis, a debate in the literature, or different perspectives on the same topic. If you want to suggest multiple papers on different topics that you should do this as separate submissions by refreshing this page and filling out the form again.
Before you submit the DOI of appropriate publications, please consider these questions:
1. How does this paper advance or synthesize knowledge of evolutionary aspects of conservation science?
2. How does this paper advance or synthesize knowledge in marine science? Is it specific to particular habitats or marine environments?
3. Does this paper represent a contribution that is primarily (that is, first or senior author) from a well-established research group? Junior or non-academic researcher? A collaboration between traditional marine and evolutionary researchers? From women or other scientists less well-represented? We request suggestions that represent intellectual contributions from a diverse pool of scientists.
