Swan City Club Basketball Tryouts 2024
Thank you for your interest in Swan City Basketball's Club Program:

This year we are once again hoping to have a spot on a team for every player who is interested.  In some cases, we may have multiple teams for the same age category but will do our best to organize a tournament schedule that does not have 2 teams from our club entered into the same tournament in the same division unless unavoidable.  Available Gym Space is the biggest challenge.  Club Volleyball utilizes most gyms in town until May which limits our ability to expand the # of teams.  We will try and find any space we can.

***Depending on the volume of players trying out, there may not be a lot of spectator room in the gym, as a result, spectators may be asked to wait outside the gym until the conclusion of the tryout.****

*We encourage players to make both tryouts if there is one, but ideally to make 1 out of 2 or a makeup date is preferable.*

Tryout Cost: $20.00 (Please pay when checking in on the day of the Tryout).

U11 Boys (2013/2014) - Saturday February 24th (315pm to 445pm) @ Maude Clifford
                                            Sunday February 25th (315pm to 445pm) @ Maude Clifford

U11 Girls - (2013/2014) - Saturday February 24th (315pm to 445pm) @ Maude Clifford
                                             Sunday February 25th (315pm to 445pm) @ Maude Clifford

U13 Boys - (2011/2012) - Saturday February 24th (315pm to 445pm) @ Maude Clifford
                                              Sunday February 25th (315pm to 445pm) @ Maude Clifford

U13 Girls - (2011/2012) - Thursday March 7th (630pm to 930pm) @ Northwestern Polytechnic 

U15 Girls - (2009/2010) - Thursday March 7th (630pm to 930pm) @ Northwestern Polytechnic

U15 Boys - (2009/2010) - Friday March 8th (630pm to 930pm) @ Northwestern Polytechnic

High School Girls (U16 - U18) - Monday March 18th: 5:30pm - 830pm (Part 1) @ PWA 
                                                     - Wednesday March 20th: 530pm - 8:30pm (Part 2) @ PWA

High School Boys (U16 - U18) - Thursday March 21st: 630pm - 930pm @ Northwestern Polytechnic

Makeup Tryout Date for U11 Boys, U11 Girls and U13 Boys will be Sunday March 3rd (315pm to 445pm @ Maude Clifford)

Makeup Tryout Date for U13 and U15 girls will be to attend the High School Girls Tryouts.  

Makeup Tryout Date for U15 Boys will be to attend the High School Boys Tryouts.

I understand there is $20.00 tryout fee to be paid on the day of the tryout at "check-in" depending on Age Group.

Basketball Alberta Membership:  All participants selected to a basketball team will be required to be Basketball Alberta Members.  This $20.00 fee needs to be paid directly to Basketball Alberta on their website.  Players who do not have membership will not be eligible to play in Basketball Alberta sanctioned tournaments. (Do not pay this until teams have been made).  If you paid for this for our Fall, Winter or Spring programs, you do not need to pay this again.
