Haciendo Caminos Vocations Summit Application
The Haciendo Caminos Vocations Summit will gather young Catholics discerning a call to pastoral leadership within Hispanic Catholic communities as well as lay ecclesial ministry by means of a masters-level theological degree. Through prayer, conversation, presentations, and convivencia, attendees will  have the opportunity to meet other Catholics passionate about Hispanic ministry from around the country, institutional representatives from all 18 Haciendo Caminos partner institutions, and nationally-leading theologians and Hispanic ministers. 

The Vocations Summit will take place from July 31st through August 3rd, 2024, on the campus of Dominican University in River Forest, Illinois. Universities and colleges may nominate rising senior undergraduates they believe would be good candidates for this gathering. Catholic dioceses and organizations can also recommend rising college seniors or young adults who have already completed their undergraduate education. Individuals who meet the criteria can also self-apply. Attendees are to be:
  • Latino/a
  • Roman Catholic
  • Young adult (18-35)
  • Actively discerning a ministerially-oriented master's theology program
The deadline for nominations and applications is May 31, 2024. Haciendo Caminos will cover all costs associated with attendance at the Vocations Summit for every attendee, including travel to and from the gathering, food, and lodging. Those selected for attendance will be personally contacted by Haciendo Caminos with an invitation to register for the Vocation Summit.
