2024 SUMMER CARNIVAL DESIGNER APPLICATION
Summer Carnival is the second market event of the year at Malus Park.
We celebrate the summer season in a fun-filled, carnival themed atmosphere.

= MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS =

1 - Exclusive Item (Not Available Anywhere Else During The Event)
1 - Gift Under L$25 (New Gift Items Are Preferred, But Not Required)

= Participation Fees =

Event Sponsor - L$500 (Limited to 10 Per Event)
Event Standard - L$250 (Limited to 20 Per Event)

- 30 Designers Total -

We strive to keep costs affordable so that a wide variety of designers can participate.
Participation fees cover the costs of event preparations, venue decorations and advertising.

= PRIM LIMITS =

Sponsor Spaces: 50 LI
Standard Spaces: 25 LI

Prim limits above are only for individual booth locations.

A demo area will be available at no additional charge.
The demo area is ONLY for builds that will not fit into a booth.
There is a 100 prim limit for all designers that utilize the DEMO Area.

= SPONSOR vs STANDARD =

Being a sponsor is not just about having more prims. Sponsor booths are the first to be seen upon entrance to the event and receive priority placement in the shopping guide. This is why sponsor spaces are limited and costs more than a standard designer booth.

A wait list will be created once sponsor reservations are full. Anyone on the wait list will be registered as a standard designer until a sponsor space opens. However, this does not guarantee a sponsor position in the event. 

If you reserve a standard booth, but end up needing more prims, please let us know!
We are more than happy to work with you to ensure you have enough prims.

= IMPORTANT INFO =

- Acceptance letters will be sent out with payment instructions & event information.
- Participation fees are due upon acceptance. Fees are non-refundable.
- Group invites will be sent out upon payment of participation fees.
- A group tag is required to rez items in the sim. Please ensure you have space available.
- Event packages are sent out the day after the application deadline for each event.
- Designer Set-Up for ALL events begin 1 week prior to the specified event start date.
- Business in a box items are NOT allowed. No exceptions.
- Original mesh is highly encouraged, but not required. If you use full perm templates, you must significantly modify them to create a unique design of your own. Be creative!
 - Terms of Service (TOS) violations will not be tolerated. Anyone found to have violated creator and/or Linden Lab TOS will be immediately reported & removed from the event.

- Malus Park utilizes the Clover Blogger System.
- A dedicated Blogger Room is provided for each event. 
- It's a simple, easy-to-use system with no cost to our designers or bloggers.
