As part of Trinity Lutheran Church Cedar Rapids' Heart of the Community presentations sponsored by the LCEF Community Grant, Executive Director of Chains Interrupted, Shana Kargbo, will present on Human Trafficking in Iowa. Traffickers are patient and cunning. Social media is increasingly used to contact, recruit & lure victims into the arms of traffickers who promise love, compassion, a bright future, successful career and a decent earning. Please join us on Tuesday, October 1st, 6-7 pm in Trinity Church's Main Fellowship Hall to become more aware of this pressing issue in our state and community. The presentation is appropriate for ages Middle Schoolers and above.
