APPLICATIONS ARE DUE APRIL 23, 2021

Biology 132 at San Diego Miramar College provides students with entry-level skills common to the biotechnology industry, such as aseptic techniques, laboratory safety, and biological media and solution preparation. Other topics include microbial growth, solutions, buffers, separation of cellular components, and macromolecules. This course is intended for students preparing for a career in biotechnology.

When: June 14 - August 6, 2021 (Monday-Thursday)
Morning Session: 9:00am-12:30pm
Afternoon Session: 6:00pm-9:30pm
Where: Zoom on MW and San Diego Miramar College on TTh

- Must apply to be accepted into this grant supported class
- Must be interested in pursuing a job in Biotech
- Priority will be given to underrepresented students and veterans
