JFK  HS Locker Contract 2023-2024

Please agree to the following policies regarding student locker use at Kennedy High School.

Lockers are free and optional. Students will be issued a school issued lock that must be used. *
Locker location requests will not be considered and location changes are not permitted. *
Any lock can be cut off by Kennedy administration without notice. Any personal locks found on lockers will be cut off. *
Lockers remain the property of Kennedy High School and are subject to random inspection by Kennedy administration.  *

Lockers are for temporary use by students for the sole purpose of storing educational materials only. Note: State law permits the search of a specific locker if it is believed that the locker may contain contraband materials including, but not limited to, weapons, drugs, medication without a doctor's prescription, drug paraphernalia, tobacco products, alcohol, marking pens, spray paint, or stolen property.

Locker sharing is prohibited. Locker privileges may be revoked in the case of locker sharing. The student assigned to the locker is legally responsible for everything in his/her locker. (Excess book weight causes structural damage and students will be charged accordingly for the repairs.) Placing stickers and decorating inside/outside of lockers is also prohibited.

Students should not keep money or other valuables in their locker. Kennedy High School personnel are not responsible for any items stolen from a student's locker. It is highly recommended that students remove all contents from their locker every Friday.

Kennedy High School will repair your locker free of charge provided the student has not abused the locker.
Students abusing his/her locker will lose their locker privileges in addition to paying for the locker repair.

A google form will be available for students to submit locker repair requests.
Clear selection

Memorize your combination and keep your locker information at home. You are responsible for remembering your assigned locker combination. To report locker vandalism, speak to an administrator or visit the counseling office.

 If you do not claim you locker by September 30, 2023, you will lose your reservation and may lose the opportunity to have a locker this year.
