Thank you for investing in the future of Sanctuary by being a part of the Discernment Process.

We ask that you complete this form by Saturday, 9/26 at noon so that we might organize the circles in time for this Sunday's Congregational Visioning Meeting (9/27, 2 to 4 pm) at which we will begin the Prayer Circle process via breakout rooms.

Following the Visioning Meeting the Prayer Circles will begin in the ensuing weeks; please indicate a first, second, and third choice. The options are listed below on the form. If none of these options work for you please list a time that does and the Discernment Planning Team will try to find a solution. If you are not able to join us for this process, please indicate below that you opt-out of the prayer circles.

The Leadership Circle and Discernment Team have developed a visioning process centered in scripture and contemplative prayer. A link to an outline of the model can be found via the call to meeting. It will be used over the next year as a congregation-wide spiritual practice, a way to orient our faith and our ministry, and a path to discernment – for now and for the future.

Each Prayer Circle will pray with the same Psalm each week; which has been chosen from the lectionary for the previous Sunday. While personal prayer reflection will remain confidential within the circle, that which has been discerned about Sanctuary's mission and ministry will be shared as part of the discernment process with the wider congregation.

Each Prayer Circle will be scheduled for 75 minutes, consist of 4-6 people assigned based on people's availability, and led by a member of the Discernment Team.
