Gender Pronouns *
A pronoun is a word that refers to either the people talking (like I or you) or someone or something that is being talked about (like she, it, them, and this). Gender pronouns (like he, them, and hers) specifically refer to people that you are talking about, and are just as important as their name. For example: If Cal's pronouns are she, her, and hers, you could say "Cal ate her food because she was hungry."; If Jay's pronouns are they, them, and theirs, you could say "Jay is in my history course and today they lent me an extra pen from their backpack."
