As we begin this month of February in which our culture celebrates love, we want to celebrate the self-giving and selfless love of our healthcare heroes. The different religious congregations and traditions of the wider Tompkins County area desire to surround our health care heroes with our prayer, material support and spiritual support. We want to let them know that they are always welcome to worship at any of our congregations and that we are always here to lend a listening ear as they face so many challenges. We also want to create a collection of  our healthcare heroes: their names, pictures, a simple description of their work and life so that we can hold them very intentionally in prayer. Finally, our congregations will be donating gift cards that we will gift to our healthcare heroes, as a concrete way to extend our support and appreciation.
