The purpose of this form is to allow you who are interested in getting involved, to participate in the planning and execution of activities at Nordic Computational Biology.

We welcome contributors and interested individuals that want to help with spreading knowledge around computational biology.

Currently we are looking to expand our team in the following areas:
1. Front-end and back-end web development
2. Content developers for website
3. Social media management
4. Developing ideas for new events
5. Representative from a nordic region (e.g. to help find speakers from local region, promotion in local events/communities, forwarding information)

You can contribute to multiple specified areas. If you are not proficient in any specifically, you are still more than welcome to sign up!

Being a part of the NCB team involves online meetings, joining the Slack workspace, sharing ideas, and/or helping to implement ideas. To be part of the Core Team, it is required that you are based in a Nordic country. The aim is to have diverse composition of the Core Team regarding both gender and knowledge, and to have representatives of all Nordic countries.

Here you can share your ideas on, for example, what kind of events you want to organise in the future. Your ideas could be related to your scientific research interests, and it does not have to be an existing initiative and/or event.

Are you a registered member of the International Society of Computational Biology (ISCB)?

We are looking for ISCB members to join NCB scientific advisory team. This will also allow us to become ISCB affiliate. Being an advisor means providing guidance when necessary e.g. for funding, conference keynotes, event organisation.
