Carolina BCM exists to spread the gospel to every campus in Columbia, help students grow in their faith, and to send out students to fulfill the great commission around the world. 

Our leadership team plays a huge role in helping us to carry out our mission. We expect our leadership team to lead the charge in accomplishing this task.

*Be a disciple who models Christ in everyday life

*BCM Leaders must maintain a 2.5 GPA or above.

*Be involved in a local church.

*Develop and adapt your position according to your gifts and skill sets.

*Be relational and hospitable.

*If you are a coordinator, your position is not a solo task, seek to involve other BCM members who are not already involved in leadership.

*Promote BCM to fellow students around campus, seek to share the gospel with them, and invite them to BCM.

*Set a Christlike example in your life by abstaining from alcohol, smoking, drugs, premarital sex or anything else that could be compromising to God, the South Carolina Baptist Convention, BCM, and my position for the full term (If you are about to turn 21, there is NO EXCEPTION to this requirement.)
Basic Commitments

*All Leaders help facilitate groups after the service. You will be in a group with another leader. The groups use a conversation guide that help facilitate deeper discussion and community after the service is over.

*Leaders are required to meet weekly for a leadership meeting.

*Leaders are required to help plan the event/activity calendar via a calendar planning meeting.

*Leaders are required to attended a training conference. The spring conference is Converge and the fall conference is Fall Retreat.
