UTSC's Business Development Department is looking volunteers for the Summer 2019 Farmers Market!

Who: Anyone can apply! (including high school and university students)
When: Wednesdays throughout May-October. See specific dates and times below.
Where: UTSC Campus

There are two shifts available (although these times are flexible). You will have slightly different responsibilities/tasks depending on the shift you attend:

12pm-4pm: Set-up shift
Your responsibilities may include:
• Setting up tables, chairs and tents
• Putting up promotional signs around campus and surrounding areas
• Helping vendors unload their vehicles and setting up their booths
• Providing parking passes and directing traffic (a safety vest will be provided)
• Promoting the market and attracting guests
• Providing information to, and interacting with the market guests
 
4pm - 8pm: Take-down shift
Your responsibilities may include:
• Promoting the market and attracting guests
• Providing information to, and interacting with the market guests
• Helping vendors load their vehicles after the market
• Putting away tables, chairs and tents
• Taking down promotional signs around campus and surrounding areas

What you should bring:
• Weather appropriate clothing (you will be outside) and comfortable shoes
• Water bottle
• Sun screen
• Your enthusiasm :)
