Vera Brosgol Book Order Form
The Lower School Library is excited to welcome author Vera Brosgol for a virtual visit with Kindergarten - 2nd graders on Thursday May 13. Vera Brosgol is an award-winning writer, illustrator, and cartoonist. She won an Eisner Award for her first published book, graphic novel "Anya's Ghost" and a Caldecott Honor for her picture book "Leave Me Alone," a fantastic book if you're looking for a humorous entry point into discussions on how to deal with frustration and personal space.
Her graphic novel "Be Prepared" explores her own experience trying to find her place as a young person who immigrated to the U.S. from Russia. "Be Prepared" is one of the books on the OES Reads list Our Nations' Many Voices for this year.
If you are interested in purchasing Vera Brosgol's book(s), please fill out the form below. List the number of copies of each book that you would like to purchase.
All book sales will be charged to your students' OES account. Books for on campus learners will be delivered to their classrooms. We will either arrange a pick up date or put books in the mail for all other students.
Your book purchase makes this author visit possible! Thank you! And thank you to Green Bean Books for connecting us with this exciting opportunity!
