UPDATE Mar 30: With the help of our community, not only did we hit our goal of raising enough funds for the initial 10,000 KN95 masks, we were able to raise an additional $8000 to acquire a total of 14,000 masks that we will be picking up directly from the warehouse. A HUGE thank you!

As a next step, we’re not stopping here. A manufacturer was touched by our story and offered to provide surgical masks AT COST for $18/box of 50 (significantly cheaper than a lot of inflated prices in the market right now). My fellow HHCW (Husband of a Healthcare Worker) Henry and I have already put down a deposit to have the masks loaded on the truck to arrive by this Friday, but will need to raise $9000 total for the minimum order of 50 boxes. We also have recruited 42 local nurses and doctors that have volunteered to help get these masks into the right hands of our frontline healthcare workers.
