April 2022 WeDigBio Online Data Creation Campaign Registration
The April WeDigBio event will occur Thursday–Sunday, April 7–10, 2022.   Data creation campaigns are envisioned to be multi-institutional and more involved than a single in-person, virtual, or hybrid data creation event. For example, they could involve the coordination of two or more events, each focused on data creation for the same project or platform.  Other things could also be added to the mix of a campaign (e.g., a live-streaming tour or research talk or two).  The data creation campaign should have a plan for social media engagement that portrays the campaign as more than the sum of otherwise disjointed parts. If your campaign involves tours and/or data creation events, your organizers should submit a registration for each of those with the corresponding registration forms.

Please additionally submit your campaign at https://scistarter.org/add-event with "WeDigBio" as one of your keywords.  This will bring your campaign to the attention of prospective participants in the broader Citizen Science Month community and enable you to target your advertising to local participants using SciStarter's People Finder.

We'll schedule a 30-minute discussion of best-practices and logistics for data campaign leaders during the week of March 28.
