Dear friends,

As summer is fast approaching its end, why not join the Malaysian Association of Geneva (MAG) to hike up Salève and enjoy the views of Geneva in its estival beauty? Come meet some friendly Malaysians, make new friends, understand Malaysian culture etc. Everyone is welcome! Bring your friends and family too. Details as below:

Date: 12th September 2020 (Saturday)
(Backup plan: 13th September 2020 (Sunday))

When and where to meet: 11:00 a.m. at the bus stop Veyrier Douane (bus 8)

Duration: 2-3 hrs from the bottom of the mountain to the lookout point (cable car station). We will have picnic at the lookout point.

What to bring:
- Do not overload yourself - take the minimum amount of stuff (the lighter the easier);
- Your passport (it's in France);
- 10 euros/francs in case you want to buy something on the top: a cable car ticket to go down for example;
- Mask if you are taking the cable car down;
- We suggest buying the tickets online in advance (it's cheaper than at the cable car station): https://www.telepherique-du-saleve.com/tarifs/ (take your Swiss Pass if you want the ''tarif privilège'')
- Some food for the picnic;
- A lot of water (at least 1 litre);
- Good shoes;
- Another T-shirt to change at the top;
- Hiking stick, especially if you want to hike down.
