2021 Regional Training Days | Event Waiver

Please complete this waiver if you are a required chapter management team (CMT) officer and cannot attend your region's Regional Training Day (RTD). You may select to attend an alternate date, which is preferred, or waive your requirement to attend any training due to extenuating circumstances. You should wait to submit your registration until you have received an Event Waiver confirmation from dgevents@deltagamma.org. If an entire CMT requires an alternate training date, please email dgevents@deltagamma.org and copy your Regional Director to coordinate an alternate date.

There will be four RTD sessions held throughout January and February, though your CMT should attend the training specified for your region. Trainings will be held from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the time zones in which they are held.
• Saturday, January, 23, 2021: Regions 5 & 6 (CST)
• Saturday, January, 30, 2021: Regions 2 & 3 (EST)
• Saturday, February 6, 2021: Regions 1 & 4 (EST)
• Saturday, February 6, 2021: Regions 7 & 8 (PST)

If you need to attend a date other than the one designated for your region, please complete this waiver to select your first and second choice date preferences.

Waivers will be reviewed in accordance with the Travel and Event Policy, Annex C. Reasons for approval include:

(1) Class or academic conflict
(2) Life event such as wedding, birth of a child, etc.
(3) Severe medical issue/illness
(4) Natural disaster
(5) Care for an infant child or dependent parent
(6) Work conflict
(7) University athletic event (as a participating athlete)
(8) Concerns about/inability to perform technology requirements for attendance (for online events only)

Waivers should be submitted no later than December 15, 2020, or as soon as the conflict is known. Please note that chapter advisers, as optional attendees, do not need to submit a waiver.
