- I agree to pick up the canvas by April 30, 2024 and return the completed artwork by May 19, 2024.

This agreement pertains to the participation in Canvas 4A Cause - an event to raise funds for the operations of the Claremont Forum and to provide art workshops for the community. Artists are invited to create artwork on canvases provided by the Claremont Forum and donate the completed artwork for a silent auction.
Artwork subject matter is open. While we encourage creativity and artistic expression, we kindly ask that all submitted artwork be considerate of diverse audiences and respectful of others. Artwork should avoid content that may be deemed offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in maintaining a positive and inclusive environment for all participants and attendees
Hold Harmless: The artist agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the The Claremont Forum, the Prison Library Project and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from the artist’s participation in the event.
Transfer of Property: Upon submission, all artwork becomes the property of the Claremont Forum. The artist hereby transfers all rights of the artwork to the organization for the purpose of the fundraiser.
Rights of Artwork: The artist acknowledges that the rights to the artwork are transferred to the Claremont Forum upon donation and that the organization may use the artwork for the purpose of the fundraiser, including auction, display, promotion, and publication.
Compensation: The artist understands that there will be no financial compensation for the donated artwork. The artwork is considered a charitable contribution to the Claremont Forum.
