~ WHAT IS IT? ~
The SJE Award is being relaunched in 2019. The Monash Law Students' Society is seeking to acknowledge and encourage student initiative in the field of social justice and equity. Volunteer work, activism, coordinating charity events and even being a social justice-minded entrepreneur are all amazing contributions to society.

In recognition of the work that is being done in the name of social justice and equity, the SJE Award will be a $500 contribution towards the winner's initiative.

~IMPORTANT INFORMATION~
The recipient of the award will need to be available to speak at the Just Leadership Program Graduation on 17 September 2019, and the LSS may require the recipient to speak at ad hoc events and/or write an article for The Reasonable Observer Blog.

~ PLEASE NOTE ~
The decision will be based on the extent of student contribution, and not on the cause itself, as the LSS supports all social justice initiatives.
