ExporTech™ Application for Enrollment
ExporTech™ is an export acceleration program for executives of manufacturing and technology firms, organized by the US Commercial Service-East Michigan, Saginaw Valley State University, the East Michigan District Export Council, the Michigan Economic Development Corporation, the Michigan Manufacturing Technology Center (MMTC), and the NIST Manufacturing Extension Partnership.

This application will be used to select a group of program participants. Selection will be made on the basis of: a) fit with the program objectives, which is aimed at helping companies become more proactive and aggressive in pursuing international growth; and b) the company’s commitment of management time to the program. In addition, direct competitors will not be invited to participate in the same round. This program is designed for CEOs, VPs and Directors that have overall responsibility to lead international growth.

The total program cost is $1,200 per company. Grant money is available from Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) to cover 50% of the registration fee, lowering the fee to $600 for qualifying companies.
We will refer interested companies to MEDC for grant application processing. Enrollment is limited to 8 companies. Your commitment to fully participate is required and essential to the program success for you and for your peer participants.  Agreement will be signed by all participants.

Upon notification of acceptance to the program I agree to pay the $1,200 program fee.
(We will assist interested companies to apply for reimbursement of 50% of the fee through MEDC STEP grant funds.)·        
To maximize the benefit of the program and to satisfy funding expectations, I agree to:        
Attend the 3 full days – September 6, October 11, November 15

Complete the tasks between meetings to prepare an export plan.

I understand that there will be no direct competitors in my group and that a Non-Disclosure Agreement will be signed by all participants.
