KIDS FIRST! Film Critics Online Class Registration 2024

This class has been established to train youth that are interested in joining our national KIDS FIRST! Film Critics team afterwards. You must have submitted an online audition and been approved in order to participate.

You are registering for the Online KIDS FIRST! Film Critics Boot Camp. Our camps that meet during the school year all take place via Zoom for six consecutive Saturdays. Our summer boot camps meet daily, Monday through Saturday, with Saturday being "Parent's Day." For both camps, each session meets for approximately 50 minutes at the times listed below. There is an assignment given at the end of each class which should take you less than an hour to complete. For the camps that meet weekly, the assignment is due within 48 hours. For the summer camps that meet daily, the assignment is due within 4 hours. Please plan your time accordingly. (If additional time is needed, please ask your instructor). The purpose of the deadline is that the following week's class is based on completing each assignment.

Also, important to know: class curriculum is consecutive so missing a day is not recommended. If you know in advance that you cannot attend one class day, we recommend you select a different camp date, or ask the admin team at the beginning if there is another way to work around that missed day..

The fee is for all 6 sessions. If your child can't make any of the dates listed below, you may request a private lesson. For more information about training program or KIDS FIRST! Film Critics, go to kidsfirst.org. All classes are filled on a first come/first served basis with a maximum of 15 students per class.

Please fill out the application below and submit payment through the PayPal link on the registration page. Full payment is required to reserve your spot. Refer to www.kidsfirst.org for our refund policy. If you withdraw 30 days before the first class, you will receive a full refund. If you withdraw 10 days before the first class, you will receive a 50% refund. If you withdraw once the class has begun, there is no refund. If you drop out of the class, are a no show, or do not fulfill your assignments, you will not receive a refund and will not be invited to join the film critics team.
