The National Federation of the Blind of Virginia (NFBV) cordially extends an invitation for you to connect with your consumer base at our 61st State Convention. There are opportunities to be an exhibitor, be a general sponsor, or even a sponsor of a specific event. Companies and organizations wanting to be an exhibitor on Friday November 1 can register at the Bronze level. Those wishing to have visibility throughout the Convention can elect to be a sponsor at the Platinum, Gold or Silver level which all include space in the exhibit hall on Friday, November 1. The benefits that can be leveraged at each sponsorship level are described below. Your support will be publicized in both our printed and Brailed materials and earn benefits outlined in this invitation.
Meet the largest collection of students, parents, educators, rehabilitation professionals, and community partners from across the state the weekend of Friday through Sunday, November 1-3, 2019 at the Renaissance Portsmouth hotel, 425 Water Street, Portsmouth, Virginia 23704.
We invite you to spend the weekend with us at the appointed conference hotel using our competitive group rate of $86/night plus taxes and applicable fees for both king and doubles. Please mention the NFBV to obtain the discounted rate. Reservations must be made on or before 5:00pm October 8 by calling The Renaissance Portsmouth hotel at 757-673-3000.

Following are the options for exhibitors/sponsors. Leverage one of these opportunities to ensure your message gets into the hands and ears of consumers across the Mid-Atlantic region.
Please Note: The deadline for sponsorship registrations is mid-night on Monday September 23, 2019. Registrations received after the cutoff will be accepted although all listed benefits cannot be guaranteed.
NFBV Chapters and Divisions will need to contact the Exhibits Coordinator for table assignment information.
Platinum, Gold and Silver sponsorship opportunities are welcome from any company or organization. Those interested only in a table in the exhibit area on November 1 and referenced in the Convention program can elect a bronze sponsorship of $250 for companies, and $125 for non-profit organizations. Sponsorship of specific events or donations of door prizes are welcome and can be arranged by contacting the Convention Sponsor/Exhibitor Coordinator.
Exhibit tables will be available for set-up from 9:00am - 11:00am on Friday, November 1, with the exhibits being open to Convention attendees from 12:00pm through 5:00pm. The NFBV is pleased to provide you with a skirted and draped exhibit tabletop and two chairs. Exhibit tables will have access to power outlets upon request at no cost when indicated on the Sponsor registration form. Sponsor must provide their own power strip. A heavy-duty extension cord is encouraged to ensure easy access to electricity. If you have electrical needs beyond that of 1 outlet, contact the Convention Exhibit Coordinator to discuss your requirements.
