If you've ever attended a summer Saturday, you know that our community shows up in large numbers to visit the Market. We will need help assisting with set-up, customer counts, entrance and exit monitoring, sanitation, social distance monitoring, and break-down, among other possible operational needs.

WHERE: Kalamazoo Farmers Market, 1204 Bank Street, Kalamazoo. Please check in at the Market Office.

WHEN: Saturdays until November 18, 2023. Multiple shift opportunities are available during the Market day (please arrive 10 minutes prior to shift to make time for parking and signing in).

VOLUNTEER POSITIONS

● Market Set-up Assistance: Posting Market signage, putting out cones and Market trash/recycling receptacles, restocking bathroom supplies, general clean-up of the area, and helping Vendors with setting up tents.

● Market Monitor: Greeting customers, helping customers with finding vendors and products, emptying and replacing trash/recycling receptacles, restocking bathroom supplies, picking up debris and general clean-up of the area, and general customer assistance during the Market.

● Break-Down Assistance: Removing signage, picking up debris and general clean-up of the area, breakdown of hand washing stations, cones, and disinfecting of Market equipment.

ADDITIONAL NOTES
● Set up & break-down tasks may involve moving signs, up to 30lbs.
