Ferizaj: Call for workshop participation

Young people from Ferizaj, Kaçanik, Shtime, Hani i Elezit, Štrpce and the surrounding areas, do you want to learn about journalism, human rights, digital skills and how to fight information disorder — misinformation, mal-information and disinformation?
If so, then this is for you.

On February 24, in the MuralFest space from 10:00 a.m. to 04:00 p.m., K2.0 will hold a one-day workshop. In addition to talking about the above topics, we will watch a documentary about youth activism and political participation in Ferizaj and the surrounding areas. The documentary follows the life trajectory of three activists — how they started their activism, what change they want to see in the world, what it's like to be an activist and much more.
Food and drinks will be provided.

Both the workshop and the documentary are part of our project "Skillful, aware and active — digital journalism for the voices of young people," supported by the Embassy of the Netherlands in Kosovo. At the end of the workshop we will also discuss the possibility of publishing your writing in the K2.0 magazine.

Who can apply:

Young people interested in journalism;
Young people who work or intend to work in the field of human rights, with a focus on gender equality;
Young people interested in learning about information disorder and the means to fight it;
Young people who have a passion for expressing themselves through journalistic writing;
Young people who want to engage in their communities;
Young people between 18-22 years old (if you are older and interested in attending the workshop, feel free to apply).

The registration deadline is the 20th of February 2024.
