The undersigned contestant/participant, in consideration of being allowed to participate in fair-sponsored competitions/activities, by the execution of this release and waiver, does hereby release the Columbus County Agriculture Fair, Inc., its employees, agents, volunteers and successors, from all liability for personal injuries or other damages and loss caused, or occasioned, by participation in any contest, exhibition, or show sponsored or allowed by the aforementioned corporation, during, or pendent to, the annual Columbus County Agriculture Fair. The undersigned also further agrees to inspect any and all venues, premises and equipment prior to participation, to determine that same is/are safe and satisfactory for the activity contemplated, and to immediately make known defect, inadequacy or unsafe condition to a fair official before engaging in any activity thereon/therewith.

This waiver and release is executed with full understanding and knowledge of its content and legal effect, and the undersigned participant/contestant freely and voluntarily assumes the risk of participation n the event by the execution of this document.
